PDF Enhancer can create three imposition types: N-up, step & repeat and booklets.
You can set the output sheet size, margins and gutters. There are specialized options for each layout type such as the number of rows & columns for an N-up imposition, number of copies for step & repeat and the number of "sheets per saddle" for booklets.
PDF Enhancer provides complete control over how the source pages are placed including which page box (media, trim, crop, etc) to use, whether to center or simply make it bottom/left relative, and how much, if any, to scale the page.
Crop marks, center marks or a frame around each placed page can be specified. The size and offset of the marks can be set.
PDF Enhancer's Layout Manager allows you to create and manage a library of common imposition settings.
The Pages panel provides the ability to scale and/or crop a page and its contents either together or separately. Select the size of the page from a list of predefined standard paper sizes or a custom defined size. This makes it easy to scale A4 pages to US Letter, for example.
You can also scale the page by a certain percentage or to set the page size equal to one of the other PDF page boxes. For example, setting the size of the page to the Trim box to remove used items such as crop marks or ad agency slugs.
Page boxes (crop, trim, bleed and art) may be added, modified or removed. PDF Enhancer even supports formulas such as "mx+((mw/2)-4.0)" for calculating the size of the page boxes dynamically.
