I've updated our servers and done some simple, initial tests; the 3.5 version is a lot faster - almost 50% - than 3.2, which is great news for us as we process thousands of pdf files every hour. At the same time, 3.5 compressed the pdf files better, again by almost 50% compared to 3.2. Great work - thank you very much!

Future Network USA needed a reliable solution for converting our magazines' high-resolution PDF pages into a format suitable for use in Zinio's digital magazines. We used PDF Enhancer to reduce the size of the files and automatically crop each page to the final trim size. PDF Enhancer will save us a significant amount of time and money each issue by allowing us to build our electronic magazine pages in-house with minimal time and effort.

PDF Enhancer
Apply stamps or watermarks to PDF

PDF Enhancer can add a stamp or watermark to PDF pages. The stamp can be placed either on top of (overlay) or underneath (background) the page content. The opacity of the stamp can be specified as a percentage of the original artwork.

Stamps can be accurately positioned by specifying the horizontal and vertical location of the stamp or by selecting one of automatic centering and sizing options. The software accepts custom values as either an absolute value (.5 inches from bottom) or a mathematical formula such as "mx+mw-.5". This formula would place the stamp .5 inches from the right edge of the page. (mx and mw are the MediaBox x-position and width, respectively.)

PDF Enhancer supports Acrobat layers (also known as Optional Content Groups.) Layers allow a stamp to appear only on-screen, only when printing or both.

Stamps will be applied to all pages or to a user defined range of pages - all odd or even pages, first page only, or a complex page range such as "1-5,10,20-".

PDF Enhancer can store commonly used stamps and watermarks in PDF Enhancer's Stamp Manager and quickly add them to any Target setting.
