PostScript

One of Apago's core competencies is PostScript related products including an industrial PostScript/PDF interpreter. This interpreter is available in several configurations including a programming toolkit with a Java Or COM interface, a scriptable commandline implementation and a full featured GUI skinned to your requirements complete with hot folder based job queuing. We can also develop modified versions of this PostScript/PDF interpreter incorporating specific functionality you require. We can also provide development services for implementation of Adobe CPSI, Global Graphics Harlequin and JAWS engines, screening or dither patterns, and other PostScript needs.

Distributed Processing

Our newest development tool is a queuing system for distributed processing of jobs across multiple servers. Currently available for Solaris and Mac OS X.

PDF optimization and manipulation

Our arsenal of technology includes a comprehensive PDF manipulation and optimization tools. We can provide this as a COM object or scriptable command line interface, or a library. Our PDF Enhancer product demonstrates most of the functionality available with our engine. In addition we can provide tools to parse PDF and pull elements into a XML file. We can also provide tools to build PDF from XML input. We have the expertise on staff to further refine PDF documents if the current tools do not meet your needs.

CT/LW and Brisque impose file formats

We have a complete library for reading and writing CT/LW file formats in several varieties including TIFF/IT, Scitex Native CT/LW and Brisque NCT/NLW. Brisque Impose files formats can also be read and converted to PDF or a flat raster. Page files supported include FP, PG, FLYT and ASSG. Available as a CLI or GUI on Windows, Mac OS X, Solaris, AIX, IRIX and Linux.

Our staff has extensive experience with C++, Java, Perl, and Tcl languages and COM, HTML, XML and XSL technologies. We actively develop on Windows, Macintosh, Solaris, Irix, AIX and Linux operating systems.
